Yeah, I think a lot of random things!
This week I attended two funerals. I thought about how important it is to have faith in Christ, time with your parents and good friends. We only have limited time on earth, why do we spend so much time doing pointless things or arguing or rushing around?
I also thought about how good hymns make me cry regardless of how I feel. Organ music is amazing and so expressive, majestic, emotional…. caveat here is that the organist must be more than capable! Mrs. Laird pulled out all the stops and it was great.
I love this time of year. I know it’s common or possibly trite but the colors are amazing and in certain lighting the beauty is amazing!
Health insurance is one of the most ridiculously complicated and nonsensical things ever.
I can’t wait to get in some good bike rides on my updated and rehabed bike! My wonderful husband gifted me a bike update for my birthday. I still ride my original bike, a Schwinn purchased in 1987! It is sometimes tempting to get a new bike but I am so comfortable with my old bike. It really isn’t that heavy, it is comfy to ride and for the most part it takes me where I want to go.
I am eager for the “O” Challenge this weekend. Shelley and I will orienteer for approximately 15 miles over 7 hours maximum around Milford Lake. Hope the weather is beautiful!
